Halloween Treat Boxes All Dressed Up As A Candy Corn-Gotta See! Candy, Cookies, Chocolate and More

While working one day I looked over at these two popcorn boxes that I had stacked together to get them out of the way. One was yellow and one was orange. At that moment I said to myself..... "Hey, that looks like a candy corn"  And that was the beginning moment of this design. A candy corn treat box. (measures 3" wide x 3" deep x 4" tall)

What kind of treats do you need during the month of Halloween? Do you give special treats to your favorite trick or treaters?  How about your friends at work? Wouldn't your employees appreciate one of these? Are you hosting a Halloween party........Need a party favor? We can help!

FILL WITH:
chocolate covered popcorn
candy corn
full sized candy bars
Halloween cookies
gift card and candy
Hershey kisses
Hershey nuggets
cinnamon bears
Halloween candy
Oreos
peanut brittle
and most any kind of candy or treat

A CANDY A DAY KEEPS THE MONSTERS AWAY
I love this saying because, quite frankly, I am a chocoholic and will always be.  Although I do like other candy but chocolate, nuts, and caramel is the best!  Have you ever tried the turtles or cavaliers from Mrs. Cavanaughs? They are absolutely the best. Now that would be a special treat for someone extra special. Imagine them in individual cellophane bags inside this cute treat box.  I would LOVE to receive that treat box.

We've taken two medium sized popcorn boxes (3" wide x 3" deep x 4" tall) and nestled the together, partly to make it a stronger box but mostly to make the boxes look like a candy corn....but the result is a stronger box that is MORE festive. The tag is aged on the edges to give it that "aged" Halloween look. The candy corns are layered with premium cardstock to give it a 3D look. And finally you add your favorite treat/candy. It doesn't have to be a candy corn. You could put your favorite recipe for chocolate covered popcorn inside, your favorite full-sized candy bars or even your much sought after Halloween cookies. Use the crinkle paper to fill the box to the proper level for the treat you are going to put inside. A lot of crinkle paper means a smaller treat while a little crinkle paper allows for more treats. I guess it depends on who you are giving them to. A lot for the co-workers at your office and a little for the kids in your child's classroom?

We gather the supplies you need to assemble each box. You only adhere the tags and candy corn cutouts and put your treat in the cellophane bag and you're done. Super Simple! Kit contains what you see above plus foam dots, and of course, easy-to-follow-instructions though with this all you need to do is look at the package photo. The crinkle paper isn't included but you can get a nice sized bag at The Dollar Store for $1.  We used white to make the 3 colors of the candy corn complete but you could use orange, black or yellow.

You can get MORE details in our Etsy shop. Don't wait too long to purchase because we have a limited amount of popcorn boxes for the kits (no, really)

The candy bar wrap is made up using  premium cardstock with one side filled with bats and the other side has a bunch of skeleton heads and bones.

This photo shows the layering of the moon pieces and the bats.

No Tricks, Just Treats Halloween Gift/Treat Tag--For Friends,Neighbors, Teachers-Cupcake Toppers

How to make a Halloween gift even more special:  Just add this cute tags! It's a tag that can be used for anyone and on any kind of gift. Great for Friends, Family, Neighbors, Teachers, Coaches etc.  Can even be used for cupcake toppers, cake toppers or any dessert, even placed on a Halloween sucker.

When I saw these Aromatherapy products at Bath & Body Works I thought they would be great for a teacher (Or anyone for that matter) A Boost of ENERGY may be just what they need. The orange ginger body lotion smells so great and so does the hand soap. (I am not being compensated in any way from Bath & Body Works-just my own thoughts)

I thought I would try my hand at making these medallions again. I think they just add so much to the tag.  They are super simple.  Once you make one you're good to go. TUTORIAL is below.  Backing the tag with a rosette is totally optional. You could just cut a round tag that is a little larger for the back too.

It's fun to have a Halloween themed package of hand lotion in the bathroom during the month of October.  They just make everything more fun and festive. The orange bottle is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin gentle foaming hand soap and the green bottle is Spidery Citrus gentle foaming hand soap. They both smell delightful!

A ribbon and a tag is all you need. No gift wrapping here.

CLICK HERE to get 2 different sized Halloween gift tags that
can also be used as cupcake toppers, cake toppers or for any dessert or any gift.

TUTORIAL

The rosette made using the 1.5" wide strip of paper was perfect for the 2" tag.  For the 2.5" tag you could cut the strip of paper 2" wide. No matter how tall you cut it the procedure is the same. Play around with the sizes to get the one you like the best.

Gotta See! "You've Been Booed" Printables and Treat Ideas for this Halloween plus Tutorials

Do you "Boo" your neighbors and friends with treats every Halloween? This cute Halloween treat cone is so much fun to do and very easy. All you need is scrapbook paper, wire and glue and our tags.

Just pick your favorite cardstock for the cone and a matching paper for the ruffle an you've got something fun to give out this year.  Our "You've been booed" tags will make it even cuter.

Be sure to place both of these printables inside the cone. Just roll them up and tie with ribbon and slip inside next to the treats.  One prints tells them that they have been "Booed" and the other is for them to put on their door or front window to let others that they have already been "Booed"  You can either fill the entire cone with treats or just the top part.

Don't forget to put the "You've been booed" printable sheets inside the cone when you leave it for your neighbors.

We've designed 8 different tags to put on the treat cone.  Which one is your favorite? Can't choose? Just use one for each treat you make up.  We backed them with a black circle measuring 3.25"  but that is totally optional too.

You can either fold the paper to make a ruffle or you can fold AND stitch it as we have done above.  Then just adhere the ruffle to the cone and add the tag.  We inked the ruffle to distress it. (optional)

This is a smaller version. We cut a 8" x 8" piece of Halloween cardstock to make the cone. Then we cut three pieces for the ruffle.  Just glue all three pieces together so you have one piece.  We folded and stitched this one too.  Fill the cone with crinkle paper and your treats sit atop it.

Be sure to use a sturdy piece of wire for the handle so it won't bend when you put it on the door knob of your neighbors and friends.  Our Halloween Hershey Nugget wraps are available HERE.

I like the looks of a stitched ruffle over one that is just folded but both options work.

You can fill the entire cone with treats or just on the top as shown. We added the "You've been booed" tag on the handle of this one instead of putting it on the front.  They are very quick to make and make such a great gift for neighbors, friends and family....even co-workers and others.

This one shows the ruffle that is only folded. It looks nice too. We filled it with Hershey Kisses with our Halloween Pumpkin tags.  They are available HERE

Our Square Pumpkin Halloween Kiss Tags are available HERE
