Ideas for your Thanksgiving Decor, Including the Dinner Table

This is more of a casual fall or Thanksgiving table. Love the plaid placemats. You can get a coupon for JoAnn's for 50% off a cut of fabric and make up some nice placemats or look at the dollar store.  A Little Lovliness

Thanksgiving Crafts-Paper/Wood Pumpkins, Turkey, Runners, Wreath & Banner etc

November is here. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. So many great things centered around Thanksgiving.....Being thankful, of course, is number one. Gathering the family together,  the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the beautiful colors of the changing trees? Then there's the delicious Thanksgiving day menu and so much more.  I'm sure you have some great memories too.  We've found some fun crafts and decor items.  Any of these will certainly make your Thanksgiving even more festive!

How to Decorate your Thanksgiving Table? Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn plus..

Need some inspiration for your Thanksgiving table or buffet? We've gathered some ideas that will help you to incorporate some of the things you already have and maybe run out and get a few more things to add to your table. Check out the dollar store, Target, Kohl's or even your local thrift store for some great finds for your Thanksgiving table.

Here are some beautiful things you can get at Williams Sonoma....Their tablescapes are always so beautiful. A quick trip to your local Williams Sonoma to look at the way they've set their Thanksgiving tables will inspire you  Williams Sonoma

Simply drape a fall garland down the middle of your table and add votive candles. You could use the fall leaves out of your yard too. Pottery Barn

Such a pretty display on a two tiered stand. Remember, they are easy to make. Here is a link to a tutorial that is super easy. Just paint it brown, orange or beige and you've got something spectacular! You could also puchase one at Williams Sonoma, (see photos below)  I found Indian corn at the same nursery where I got my pumpkins and they were only 50 cents each, and you can use the pumpkins you didn't carve for Halloween.

Isn't this simple display of candles and acorns so pretty!  I love the glittered top....Get out your Martha Stewart glitter!  Pottery Barn

 

 Detail-oriented guests will appreciate this extra touch. Flatten chilled butter with your hands or a rolling pin to about 1-inch thick, then cut with a cookie cutter Drizzle with maple syrup (or not) just before serving. The combo is especially yummy on corn bread or rolls. BHG
 


  

Once again we're using real leaves for placecards/napkin holders. Use permanent marker to write the names of family and friends. Wrap up the napkin with cute ribbon printed with a seasonal message. BHG

 

Let your guests know what's on the buffet with a simple menu typed on the computer and popped into a ready-made frame. Embellish with a few stalks of millet, wheat, or other seasonal grasses tied with ribbon and taped or glued to the frame. BHG
