More Halloween Gift Ideas For Our "No Tricks, Just Treats" Tags-Plus The Peppermint Place Suckers and More

We wanted to show you a second idea for using our  "No Tricks, Just Treats" tags---Just add them to the front of a sucker--how easy is that?  The tags come in a 2" size and a 2.5" size. Wouldn't they be a great party favor,  plus it doubles as a centerpiece.  

We bought these lollipops at The Peppermint Place in American Fork, Utah. They have all kinds of suckers and stick candies and candy canes plus more.  HERE's a YouTube Video that gives you a tour of the shop and takes you into the back where the candy is made. (their web site is www.kencraftcandy.com  not The Peppermint Place) 

The tutorial for making these rosettes can be FOUND HERE.  They are very easy to make. Once you make one you will be on your way.  Some people call them medallions too. It's a easy way to dress up the party favor.  

We removed the clear bags that were around our suckers but you will want to leave them on if you are using them as a party treat.

We placed a piece of styrofoam inside this cute pumpkin tin and just put pushed the suckers down into it. You can buy the green styrofoam or a green floral foam brick at The Dollar Store.  Then just add some crinkle paper in the color of your choice. You can also get crinkle paper at The Dollar Store. 

Love how large these suckers are. Give one to a child and watch his eyes POP out of his head!  

Here are just a few of the Halloween suckers that we purchased last year at The Peppermint Place. (I took them out of the clear bags to get a better photo, but they do come wrapped up)  You should be able to pick up some of these same suckers and maybe some new designs this year. Halloween - Smiling Jack Party Favors & Treat Boxes-Jack-o-Lanterns & Pumpkins

Are you hosting a Halloween party this year at home or at school? We've got just the party favor/treat box!  These cute treat boxes are great for adult AND kid parties.  I love how happy the jack-o-lantern looks….it's definitely a friendly party treat. They hold the perfect amount of chocolate treats too. Just 3 Hershey Nuggets wrapped in our Halloween themed candy wraps will make an impressive display. So easy to put together and your guests will love them....

Here's a closeup of all the box fronts. We've got all the popular Halloween characters….Vampires, cute witches, skulls and ghosts.  Everybody gets to take a fun treat home and who doesn't like chocolate?

(We've actually removed the pumpkin, monster and ghost from the group)  9 Halloween themed Nugget wraps are the star of the show.  Eeek, Boo and Trick or Treat are perfect for your treat boxes. We wrapped them around the Nuggets in the gold paper. Hershey Nuggets also come wrapped up in silver paper. You choose!  There are approximately 34 Hershey Nuggets in a 11 ounce bag so you could get 11 boxes out of one bag.

We filled that cute glass bottle with OUR favorite Apple Cider from Allreds Orchard. I've decided it isn't a beverage but a TREAT. If you have never tried it you've got to go get some. (Provo, Utah-University Ave) It will definitely be your beverage of choice for this Fall season.

Just a touch of copper ink on the edge makes the top scallop piece stand out!  Secure the lollipop stick in-between the two black scalloped pieces and add the cute Halloween ribbon…now the back of the Smiling Jack sign is almost as cute as the front.

Our favorite Halloween words——Boo, Eek and Trick or Treat. Each Hershey Nugget will run you about 10 cents each.

Doesn't this just finish the place setting off?  Your Halloween table just got sooooo CUTE!!!

{Tutorial} Part 3 Halloween Pumpkin Treat Boxes Party Favor Cutouts

More FUN things you can create using the EK Success Jack-O-Lantern paper punch.  Create your own pumpkin face using the pieces from this paper punch. Wouldn't the kids have fun doing this.... (We used a 3/4" paper punch to put the ribbon through but you can also use a smaller paper punch)

You can find this paper punch on the EK Success web site. Click HERE   I found mine at Joann's. Call your favorite craft store to see if they carry it. (Jack-o-Lantern Large Punch) 

Put a stem and tendril on top as shown above or punch two holes and put a bow on top. . Either way looks great! Put a treat bag inside. (get all this information on our earlier post, Click HERE

Punch out the Jack-O-Lantern pieces and arrange anyway you like. Happy, Sad, Mad or Whimsical looks are all possible. Make the face all one color or mix it up as shown above. Definitely get the kids involved with this one.

{Tutorial} Fun Personalized Halloween Pumpkin Place Cards and Treat Bags ((Part 2 Tutorial)

 These pumpkin place cards are a little smaller than our pumpkin bags posted yesterday.  You use the same Jack-o-Lantern paper punch from EZ Success but add a color behind the pumpkin face.  The ribbon is gone and we've added the stem, tendril and name. See all the directions below. It's pretty simple. The two samples above are inked but you can skip that step if you choose to.

Any scrapbook paper can be used including lighter weight scrapbook paper with designs as shown above. A scoring board is a great help in this project. I got mine at JoAnn's on sale but you can use a 40% coupon and end up getting one for around $12.99. You'll definitely love having one.

 You could use a 1 1/2" circle for the name circle instead of a scallop punch if you prefer

 We chose a yellow paper for the background to make it look like the pumpkin is lighted from within, but any color will work.....Black, brown, green etc. Just use your imagination. Because after all, you know what you like!

 This is the step where you ink the paper. We used the cheapest Q-tips we could find (dollar store) There isn't as much cotton on the end of the tip as the name brand and they work more effectively. You could use a stencil brush or a make-up applicator. Be sure to ink the inside edges of the eyes, nose and mouth. Slice the edges through the ink pad.  Curl the stem by rolling it around a small crochet hook or knitting needle, something small in diameter.

Glue on the scalloped circle by matching it to the scallops on the paper.  I used vinyl for my names but markers or pens will work too.  Definitely use a contrasting color for the name circle. You could use all the same color or a different color for each one.

Use a glue stick or double-sided tape to put the box together. You're favorite treat is sure to fit inside the 3" bag. We purchased a package of 50 for $2.99 from JoAnn's.

Put the word "Thanks" on the scalloped circle and you've got  a fun "Thanks for coming" gift for your family and friends.

These place cards will definitely look great on your Halloween table. If you include a 3" clear bag of candy inside the pumpkin it doubles as a party favor or a "thanks for coming" gift...and it already has their name on the package. You can use scrapbook paper that is lighter weight with a Halloween design too.
