More Halloween Gift Ideas For Our "No Tricks, Just Treats" Tags-Plus The Peppermint Place Suckers and More

We wanted to show you a second idea for using our  "No Tricks, Just Treats" tags---Just add them to the front of a sucker--how easy is that?  The tags come in a 2" size and a 2.5" size. Wouldn't they be a great party favor,  plus it doubles as a centerpiece.

We bought these lollipops at The Peppermint Place in American Fork, Utah. They have all kinds of suckers and stick candies and candy canes plus more.  HERE's a YouTube Video that gives you a tour of the shop and takes you into the back where the candy is made. (their web site is www.kencraftcandy.com  not The Peppermint Place)

The tutorial for making these rosettes can be FOUND HERE.  They are very easy to make. Once you make one you will be on your way.  Some people call them medallions too. It's a easy way to dress up the party favor.

We removed the clear bags that were around our suckers but you will want to leave them on if you are using them as a party treat.

We placed a piece of styrofoam inside this cute pumpkin tin and just put pushed the suckers down into it. You can buy the green styrofoam or a green floral foam brick at The Dollar Store.  Then just add some crinkle paper in the color of your choice. You can also get crinkle paper at The Dollar Store.

Love how large these suckers are. Give one to a child and watch his eyes POP out of his head!

Here are just a few of the Halloween suckers that we purchased last year at The Peppermint Place. (I took them out of the clear bags to get a better photo, but they do come wrapped up)  You should be able to pick up some of these same suckers and maybe some new designs this year. The Peppermint Place has been making candy in Utah since 1969.  It's just a fun place to go-The kids will LOVE it!   The Peppermint Place

HERE's the LINK for a Easy TUTORIAL for the paper Rosettes and more fun ways to use the tags for Halloween gifts.  Don't Miss it!

Chocolate Halloween Pencils for Teacher Appreciation Gift-Rolo Candy-So Fun!

We've got another fun Halloween themed gift for teacher. I'm sure you've seen the pencils that are made out of a roll of Rolo candy. Well, how about making  a Halloween pencil instead of a regular yellow pencil? That sounds like fun. A yummy treat in a cute package. Perfect for teacher! We've designed these tags for you to put on the Rolo Pencils

Click HERE to get these Halloween Tags

These candy pencils are pretty easy to make and  the sky's the limit on how you design them. The paper only measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" and can be made out of a scrap of paper. The top, or the eraser on the top of the pencil is just a pink strip of pink scrapbook.  If you don't have a Cricut or Silhouette to cut out the circle for the top of the eraser, just trace the top of the Rolo roll for the circle. All this info is in the YouTube tutorial video.  Click HERE  to see it.

Besides the Rolo candy,  which we found at 79 cents, you  may already have the rest of the supplies shown above. Hershey candy kisses are  $3.28 at Walmart. Shopko puts them on sale regularly for only 2.99.  They will most definitely go on sale between now and Halloween.

You can use scrapbook paper that is one color or has a design, either one looks great.  I like to ink my designs. I think it gives the edges definition but this project can certainly be done without inking. I used brown ink for this project.  I just purchased the Martha Stewart foam pouncers and I love using them when inking.

This tool makes it so easy to ink your projects. Five different sizes are included. The price is $5.99 but use a coupon and get it for less. (I bought mine at JoAnn's)

The Rolo pencils fit nicely inside the pretzel bags. We bought ours at Walmart, 20 bags for $1.76.  Add a bow and our tag and you're done.

In the photo you will see a tag cut out in the 1 1/2" scallop paper punch and the 2" scallop paper punch.

This tag can be made cut out in two different sizes. You can also use either a circle or a scallop paper punch. I really like the  EK Success punches.  We've included 9 different colors of tags for you to use.

Now, you'll want to know how to put together this sweet gift for teacher! We found a video tutorial on YouTube, the instructions were very good. Click HERE to see the video tutorial. But if you prefer a photo tutorial click HERE
