Thanks Teacher! Teacher Appreciation Gift Card Holder-So Adorable! Teachers LOVE Gift Cards

Give Teachers exactly what they want this year…..GIFT CARDS!!!  Yes, they do love them.  Now you can put them in the perfect package that they will equally love.  The contrast of the red and the green is so fun and the crinkle paper is the perfect touch.  A Teacher's gift in a bright and colorful package.

We've even put a stitch of red thread around the wrap for you. A pre-made apple is perfect on the front corner.  There's even a white tag in case you want to write the kid's name on them, but believe me, the teacher isn't going to forget who gave them this cute package.

We made this into a kit so you wouldn't have to gather any of the supplies—we do that for you. Everything you need for this package will come to your door, except the crinkle paper, but you can purchase this at any craft store and even just for $1 at The Dollar Store.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS KIT?

It will be super simple to assemble. Just put the gift card inside and cover with crinkle paper….you could even wrap up the card in a small pice of tissue paper if you like. Then add the wrap around the clear pillow box and glue together.  Tie the green twine around it and add the white tag and the cutout before you tie a bow.  Didn't I tell you it was simple?

Are you doing a Halloween count-down calendar this year? Include these bookmarks as a gift for one of the days, or split them up and use it for more than one day's gift. There are 12 different designs.

Use different colors of scrapbook to cut out the bat, (not just black)  you could match the bat to the color of the book mark....plain paper or one with a design...it's all good!

Use a small paper punch to make two holes in the bat. Thread twine through as shown and loop behind the bookmark. We used the EK Success bat punch. You can get it at JoAnn's right now at 40% off which makes it $10 or $11.

In order to be able to wrap the twine around the bookmark without making the package bulge  I cut a piece of cardboard 2 1/4" wide and taller than the bag. I inserted it into the bag and then tied the twine and bat around it. The bag still lays flat if you do it this way. Just trim the top of the  bag down to about 2" above the bookmark and fold over the back. Tape or glue dots will afix it.  (We used pretzel bags for the bookmarks packaging. You can find them at any craft store in the cake/candy decorating section--usually 20 for less than $2.00)

The bat on the right was scored and folded up like an accordion to give it dimension. The bat measures 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" tall when flat.

Edible Crayons? What a Fun Gift for Teacher Appreciation

How funny is this! Edible crayons. Perfect for gift for your kids teachers. You could empty out a new box of crayons (right now they are anywhere from 40 to 50 cents a box) and put these homemade crayons inside! They may be taller than the box but that's the joy of it, but if they aren't just put some tissue paper in the bottom of the box.  Wrap a ribbon around the box and you've got a very unique present for the first day of school.

Here's a tray of them all made up! So Cute! Make up several different crayon colors. Print the labels on different color cardstock and you're good to go!.

They fit nicely in this pencil box too. It's art and a snack at the same time.
