Our Brand New Halloween Treat Box would be such a fun addition to your Halloween party.  It's a decoration, it's a party favor, it's a "Thanks for coming" treat.  It allows you to give out a treat without giving out a a lot of candy. Comes in two different colors. You could set them out on your buffet table or put one at each place setting.  

 This design is an orange and white polkadot box with a black Trick or Treat sign.  The candy wraps come in orange and black. Mix or match or just use one color.   There are 18 different candy wraps, some with graphics and some with words. 

We put 3 Hershey Nugget candies wrapped up in our Halloween candy wraps in each box.  It's a fun way to package a treat for party guests.

Halloween Decorations- Ghosts, Pumpkins, Creepy Halloween Labels and More!

Here's more fun Halloween decorations for indoor and out.  It's great when you can take Halloween decorations that you already have and give them a new twist. I love the gauze on the fireplace below. The outdoor ghosts are inexpensive to make.  The twine pumpkins are jazzed up by just adding Christmas lights.  All of these projects can be done very inexpensively.....especially if you shop the Goodwill stores for the accessories.

This cute pumpkin wreath looks very easy. It's the first one I've seen that really looks like a pumpking (instead of being wrapped around the metal ring, it's draped up) More Details

What a great idea. Take your plain vine pumpkins and add twinkle lights. (Wrap the wire with brown floral tape) These are from  PotteryBarn  See the pumpkins in a great display in the photo below.  Would be more dramatic at night. Could use inside too.

Doesn't this entryway look great! You can do it much cheaper than Pottery Barn. Love the stacked pumpkins.  Just make sure when you go to the pumpkin patch that you stack your pumpkins there, before buying them, to make sure they look good together!

Halloween Decor Bat Garland-Super Simple to Make

 Here's a super simple way to make a bat garland. We used the EK Success bat punch and a sewing machine. The bat, itself, measures 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" tall.  We were able to cut out enough bats for a 48" garland using only 2 pieces of 12x12 black paper. There are 30 sets of bats in our garland. If you spaced out the bats you could make it longer and use the same amount of bats.

 We were able to cut 34 bats out of one piece of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper.

 We put two bats together and sewed down the middle of the bat in a straight line. Leave an inch or two of thread between each bat. (Be sure to use a thread that matches your scrapbook paper when sewing them together)   If you wanted to only use one bat you could do that too.

After you're done sewing the bats together, bend both wings outward to create a 3D effect.

 This is a very easy project to do. Could use it in your Halloween tree, as a banner across your mantle or draped across a window. Would look cute as a table runner on your buffet table too or even on a wreath---Use your imagination!  Since you are making it yourself (as opposed to a purchased kit) you can make it as long or as short as you want. Add some glitter on the bat wings for a different look. We purchased our EK Success bat punch at JoAnn's

Your bat garland doesn't have to be made out of all black scrapbook paper. Use multiple Halloween colors for a unique look and add in a black one here and there.

To Carve or Not to Carve....A Pumpkin that is-See some Really Fun Ideas!

Here's a gathering of some of my favorite carved and un-carved pumpkins. Are any of these your favorite? Do you prefer to carve the pumpkins or paint faces on them?
