Milk & Cookies Party-Cute Idea For Your Next Get-Together!

Have you seen this Milk and Cookies party?  I loved it! My thoughts were this.....how many times do you have a small event, meeting or get together (especially at church) where you are just serving milk and cookies?  Many many times!  Well jazz it up and make "just milk and cookies" more special. People will talk........

Love the "real" cookie tag on the straw

Now you have individual servings of milk that are so cute. Can use mason jars, soda bottles (place straw in bottle when when soda bottles) any kind of bottle will work. Star Bucks Frappuccino bottles were used here. Here's another source for glass jars here
(This was actually a baby shower-but use some of the ideas can be used for other celebrations)
The Tutorial on how these cute milk bottles were designed are now out! Even the printable is provided (Free) The invitations are coming any day now too! Click here for the milk bottle tutorials  Click Here to see more photos of the party and where to find everything.  Here's hoping your next "milk and cookies" event is just as cute as this one!

{Give-a-way} You've Gotta See this Pastry Pedestal!

When I first saw this cupcake holder I was in love! It is different than any that you've seen before when it comes to displaying your yummy desserts. Jessica Kirkland is the designer of this great product and this is what it says on her site:
Where every pretty pastry should be put
the innovative way to
Creatively display and personalize
petite pastries including cupcakes
petit fours, macarons, brownie bites,
truffles, cake pops and more

As far as the story behind the inspiration and ultimately the creation...
It all started after I participated in a cupcake skewer contest hosted by Courtney over at PizzazzerieThe idea just came to me while creating my submissions for the contest. I've been working on getting them manufactured and into everyone's hands ever since!!

How Cute!  You set it up however you like

Fun to display cupcakes, but any petite pastry will work
Display bowls filled with goodies  in different colors
Notice the colorful paper under the round-Use paper that matches your theme.
Add some extra details with embellishments from your craft box or craft store.
Use double-sided tape to attach
Display the fruits of the season too
Now I'm sure you'd love to see how she does it!  Okay, that's easy, Click Here to go to her site and see her tutorial video. It will answer all your questions! Be the first of your friends to have this cute pastry display and have the "wow" factor at our next party or celebration. Now let's get your order in so you'll have it in time for your next party!
