{Teacher Appreciation} Paper Flowers for the Teacher

Wow, first day of school is coming up fast! I have a great idea for a Teacher's Appreciation gift your child or children that they can take on the first day of school. Flowers!  Not just any flowers, Paper Flowers! They will last the whole year long and will remind them of your child each time they look at them. (pretty cool, huh?) They look great and aren't hard to make. Just put a stem on each one and you've got a lovely bouquet for the Teacher!

Find out how to make these beautiful flowers with a easy tutorial here at Folding Trees
Make them any size you want, from big to tall
I've made some of these and they are quite simple. Ways to say money: Use wrapping paper that has a front color and a back color (Costco) newspapers, maps or magazine paper.  Right now until Sunday July 23rd,  Hobby Lobby has their books of scrapbooking paper at half price, so check that out too.

Love the look of these paper flowers from Pebbles In My Pocket!--Full Tutorial included   Make a Full Bouquet

The rolled flower is so easy to make and so pretty.  Tutorial found Here at Jones Design Company

Aren't these pleated flowers colorful?  Full Tutorial Here at Cut Out & Keep
Now this is where the Martha Stewart Scoring Pad comes in Handy.

Use the scoring pad to score lines onto the paper in a perfect measurement and the folds on the paper will turn our perfectly spaced!
(I just bought one and I love it....makes everything easier)

And for those of you who aren't crafty and would love to purchase some paper flowers  for the teacher just go to this
